“Pada masa ini, empat penyedia perkhidmatan e-Dompet mempunyai rangkaian 1.2 juta peruncit,” kata kenyataan itu.
Peniaga perusahaan kecil dan sederhana yang belum mendaftar dengan penyedia perkhidmatan e-dompet terbabit untuk menerima pembayaran elektronik atau tanpa tunai dinasihatkan berbuat demikian bagi membolehkan mereka menikmati faedah daripada pelaksanaan inisiatif itu.

ePemula: Dua Juta Belia Bakal Menerima Manfaat e-Tunai Berjumlah RM300 juta melalui BigPay, GrabPay, ShopeePay atau Touch ‘n Go eWallet
Di bawah Bajet 2022, sejumlah RM300 juta telah diperuntukkan untuk memanfaatkan sekitar dua juta belia melalui sebuah inisiatif e-tunai, yang dinamakan ePemula.
Belia yang layak akan menerima kredit e-tunai sebanyak RM150 setiap seorang melalui aplikasi e-dompet yang dipilih. Empat (4) penyedia perkhidmatan e–dompet iaitu BigPay, GrabPay, ShopeePay dan Touch ‘n Go eWallet telah dipilih untuk menjayakan program ini.
Buat masa ini, keempat-empat penyedia perkhidmatan e-Dompet tersebut mempunyai jaringan peniaga runcit melebihi 1.2 juta. Memandangkan program ini akan bermula pada pertengahan bulan April, peniaga PKS yang masih belum berdaftar untuk menerima bayaran pembeli secara elektronik atau tanpa tunai (cashless) disarankan untuk mendaftar dengan penyedia perkhidmatan e-dompet yang terlibat bagi mendapat manfaat daripada pelaksanaan program ePemula ini.
